Nissan contains Passover (Nissan 14/April 1), the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Nissan 15–22/April 2–9), and the Feast of Firstfruits (Nissan 16–17/April 3–4).

Every Nissan is about crossing over from the old into the new, and it requires a miracle. The Israelites had to cross over the Red Sea at the first Passover, and that was a huge miracle. Forty years later, also at Passover, they had to cross over the Jordan River, which itself was another incredible miracle (Josh. 4:19; 5:10–12).

Both the crossing of the Red Sea and the Jordan River show us that we need the Lord’s power to cross over into the new things He has prepared for us. Why? Because the devil doesn’t want us to leave the old and enter into any part of our destiny. From scripture, we see the devil uses the Leviathan spirit to try and stop us. When the Red Sea opened, you could say the Lord smashed the heads of Leviathan. Psalm 74:14 states, “You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces, and gave him as food to the people inhabiting the wilderness.”

He will do the same for us. All it takes is our decision to follow Him—leaving behind the old and crossing into whatever new things He has for us in 2026. Isaiah 27:1 declares, “In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; and He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.”

Leviathan uses twisting, confusion, and discouragement to try to get us into unbelief, sin, and discouragement—as well as to stop us from moving forward. But Jesus died so that we have forgiveness of sin. All we have to do is ask. Luke 24:46–47 (ESV) says, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.”

Our repenting and obedience in faith results in a punishing of Leviathan. Each response of faith on our part actually becomes additional “food” for our faith. Psalm 74:14 states, “You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces, and gave him as food to the people inhabiting the wilderness” (emphasis added).

Blessings for Nissan
(sometimes referred to as Aviv)
1. This is the first of the months and the beginning of the redemption cycle (see Exodus 12:1–2 [1]).

Declare: “Lord, thank you that I can walk with you, and that now is the beginning of you taking me to a new level in you.”

2. The month of the tribe of Judah. Judah goes first—first into warfare (see Judges 1:2 [2], 20:18 [3]), and also first when moving to a new place. Judah was the first tribe in the order of procession when Israel moved in the wilderness (see Numbers 10:14 [4]).

Be sure to praise and sing: “Lord, thank you for the weapon of praise. I choose to praise you each time an issue or problem arises.”

3. The month in which spring often starts; the beginning of the month of direct light.Declare your light is getting brighter. (See Isaiah 60; Luke 2:32 [5]; Isaiah 49:6 [6]; Acts 26:18 [7].)

Declare that His light is shining brighter and brighter, and that He is helping you understand mysteries and heretofore hidden things.

4. Month of Passover (starts on Nissan 14, April 1). Passover is designed to help us enter into a richer experience of our great salvation in Jesus. We do this by examining the first Passover. Note the following things:

Deliverance. Israel was set free from Egypt. We need to remember and thank the Lord for where we came from. Peter was delivered from prison during Passover week (see Acts 12). Expect a new level of deliverance.

A time of crossing over (first the Red Sea in Exodus 14, and then the Jordan River in Joshua 4–5). This is definitely a year of change for advancement and harvest.

Reproach is being rolled away (Joshua 5:9 [8]). Any old sense of failure that is still a part of our identities that is allowed to remain will hinder us. Jesus wants to roll that off of us. Remember, praise is the key. As you praise Him, old reproaches will roll off and away.

New provision (Exodus 12:35–36 [9]; Joshua 5:10–12 [10]). Each Passover is a time when the Lord wants to bless us with new provision. Look for it. Expect it!

5. The month of redemption. A price has been paid for you to be set free from all of your “prisons.” Read Ruth and see how Boaz bought back the property that had been lost for Ruth and Naomi, and how this brought Ruth into her destiny.

Declare that the time of “eking out”—of “gleaning” is over. You are now like Ruth after her marriage to Boaz—now a person of position and substance.

6. The month of the beginning of miracles. See Nehemiah 2:1 [11], and Esther 3:7 [12]. In both cases, the miraculous chain of events was set into motion during Nissan.

Declare: “I declare the Lord wants to work miracles through me, not just for me. This is a new beginning.”

7. The month that sets the course for your future.

8. The annual renewal of God’s hei plan. Every year, the spirit of God needs to blow on you during this month. The day before I wrote this, someone prophesied and ministered to me declaring the breath of God was blowing on me and removing every bit of unbelief regarding the present and future. Ask Him to blow on you.

9. Linked to the constellation Aries (the ram or the lamb). Jesus is the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (see John 1:29 [13]). God provided a ram for Abraham to sacrifice instead of Isaac. He is Jehovah Jireh and will provide (see Genesis 22:14 [14]). Expect unusual sources of provision.

Declare: “Just like the stars can’t be hidden but are visible to all, I declare that increasingly the whole world will begin to see Jesus is the lamb of God. God’s miracles through me will help others see Jesus, the only one who can take away the sin of the world.”

10. The month kings go to war; the new year for kings. God wants to “expand” you. Kings also make decrees. Use the authority and position God has given you to make decrees.

11. The month of speech. If you speak negatively during this month, it will adversely affect you three to four months later. The seeds of negativity take root and will pull you backward. Conversely, your positive confessions should “grab the wind” and change the atmosphere. (See 1 Peter 3:9 [15]; 1 Samuel 1:17 [16], 2:20–21 [17].)

12. The “controller month.” Put your best foot forward. You need to assess both where you are at and where you are going.

13. The month where you need to “learn to fish.” If you can’t pay your taxes, pull a coin out of a fish’s mouth. Let the Lord give you new and unusual means of supply. (See Matthew 17:27 [18].)

14. You must step forward. Don’t wait and hold back. Move ahead confidently in God. Numbers 33:3 (AMP) says, “The Israelites went out [of Egypt] with a high hand and triumphantly.”

Declare: “I choose to daily make joyfully bold declarations. God wants to work miracles through me.”

References

[1] “Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, ‘This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you’” (Exod. 12:1–2).

[2] “And the Lord said, ‘Judah shall go up. A law had been written authorizing the Jews to be slaughtered. There was no recourse, no escape. At the last moment, God used His “long-prepared but still-hidden weapon,” Queen Esther. Because of her, at the last minute the law was amended and the Jews could protect themselves. Not only that, but the spiritual darkness was also broken. The enemies of the Jews lost their bravado, and the Jews received great favor. Instead of being annihilated, they completely destroyed the enemy. Several thoughts are as follows:

1. Celebrating that victory and never forgetting it was a command. Recalling earlier victories is an increasingly powerful spiritual weapon for us now. Revelation 12:11 states, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”

2. It’s not enough just to remember the victories, but we also need to joyfully celebrate them.

3. God always has a plan and will always make a way. He had Esther in position for just that right moment. Likewise, He has a way for each of us, no matter how impossible it may seem.

4. God watches over His people because of His love and His covenant, and not because we earned it. We should note that most of these Jews could be termed “unfaithful,” because they had refused to return to Israel when King Cyrus gave the opportunity. “Faithful” Jews returned; they didn’t. God still protected them. No, I’m not saying it’s okay for us to be unfaithful. But I am emphasizing God cares for us and protects His people—not because we “earned it,” but because of His love and His covenant with us through faith in Jesus.

5. When God gives victory, He does it first in the spiritual realm. Even a cursory reading of Esther will show how God began to turn the spiritual tide in the Jews’ favor. That means our celebrating likewise affects the spiritual realm.

6. Celebrating the goodness of God is a “must” for us. It helps us properly rise up so the Lord can win more battles through us. Psalm 81:10 states, “Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.”

Let’s be sure to always celebrate the goodness of God!
1. Month of the tribe of Naphtali, which means “sweetness to me.” Deuteronomy 33:23 states, “Naphtali is abounding with favor of the Lord.” Think this truth in your heart, and speak it and watch it come to pass in your life.

Declare: “I am abounding with the favor of the Lord.”

2. Month of eloquent communication and expressions of joy and laughter. Genesis 49:21 states, “Naphtali is a deer let loose; he uses beautiful words.” The Holy Spirit will help us find words to fully express God’s goodness. This not only solidifies our faith, but also opens the eyes of others to the goodness of God.

Declare: “The Holy Spirit continually gives me good things and words of grace to say.”

3. Month of Pisces, the fishes. Some scholars feel the two fish represent the two sons of Joseph. As such, we could say they are a symbol of multiplication while in a foreign land. Interestingly, Jesus multiplied two fish and five loaves to feed the 5,000 (Matthew 14:13–21). Etymologically, one of the root words of “Purim” may be linked with another root form, “pru,” whose meaning connotes “to be fruitful and multiply.” So, expect multiplication and increase in every area of your life.

Declare: “God is making me fruitful and is giving me the ability to multiply and increase this month.”

4. God has cycles to help us come into our identity. What we are in our spirit will be reflected physically. Some of God’s tools to help us enter our identity include celebration, expressing our thankfulness, and family. The more I find my place in His family, the more my true identity emerges. It’s also why God wants to restore our natural families.

Declare: “The more I celebrate, the more I enter into my true identity.”

5. The month of the letter kaf (כ), which looks like a mask. It’s a time to remove any masquerade and enter into laughter. Enter into the true joy of who you are. We need to remove any mask and be ourselves. Rejoicing is one of the most important tools for “mask removal.”

Declare: “The more I rejoice, the more ‘masks’ fall off.”

6. A month to overturn anxiety over your supply. If you remove anxiety, then you can see your supply. But if you are ruled by anxiety, then you can miss the provision God has for you (Phil. 4:6–7) [1]. Every time you feel anxiety rising, just remind yourself that God is your source and He is always faithful.

Declare: “The moment I feel anxious about supply, I will immediately declare God is my provider.”

7. The month of laughter, abounding joy, the witnessing of life entering into darkness, the advantage of light over darkness, the power of barrenness being broken. No matter what the darkness is, laugh and watch God permeate it. Light permeates darkness. When we see this, barrenness will break. Begin to laugh at fear (Ps. 34:4–6) [2]. Try it. Is some fearful thing oppressing you? Laugh at it.

Declare: “The joy of the Lord is my strength. My laughter breaks barrenness and activates God’s promises to come to fulfillment.”

8. The month of the spleen. Pull out any roots of depression and despair so that faith can break through into our thought processes.

Declare: “Depression and despair have no place in me.”

9. The month Moses was born. Your deliverance is forming. Take a look at whatever is holding you captive and declare God’s truth. Declare He is already forming deliverance and freedom for you, and that it is on the way (Exod. 2:10) [3].

Declare: “Jesus has made me free. For any remaining bondage in my life, deliverance is already under way.”

10. The feast of Purim. This feast originates with Esther. The devil inspired Haman to get an edict decreeing all the Jews in the Persian empire were to be slaughtered on Adar 13. God had placed Esther as wife of the emperor “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14). The edict couldn’t be reversed, but because of her the Jews were permitted to defend themselves. Adar 13 (March 2), which would have been a day of annihilation, turned into two days of great victory over their enemies (Esther asked that the king’s boon be extended another day). From then on, Adar 14 (March 3), became the Feast of Purim. Daily celebrate that every plan of the enemy against you has already been overturned by Jesus. By celebrating, you enter into that victory.

Declare: “I celebrate God’s goodness, and every edict against me is broken in Jesus’s name.”

11. A month to develop your war strategy against the anti-Christ spirit. Don’t let the giants produce fear in you; guard against idolatry. Amalek will try to come. See Exodus 17:8–16.

One of the giants is the spirit behind “woke” philosophy, or the way of thinking that has so quickly risen up in most Western nations, especially since Covid in early 2020. One of its main tactics is fear about what might happen. Much of major media goes along with this, and when something goes against this “woke” agenda or thought, it is reported in a way to induce fear. We must be like Moses. When Moses’s hands were held up, Israel prevailed. For us, this means we can keep our “hands raised” by staying in faith and joy. Our eyes are on Him. He is ruler of all.

Declare: “Whenever I sense fear or worry come, I will raise my hands in faith and declare all things are in His hands.”

12. A time for wrong decrees to be broken off of you. If wrong decrees are heeded to, they will encircle you and will cause others to say the same negative things about you. You need to break off the negative things decreed about you. I suggest praying and asking the Holy Spirit to reveal some wrong decrees, both self-made and “others-made.” Forgive those who uttered them, put the blood of Jesus on those wrong decrees, and then break them in His name.

Declare: “I forgive those who have ‘cursed’ me. I break off every wrong decree over my life.”

13. A time for leadership to awaken. Next month they go to war.

Declare: “I am a leader, and I am arising.”

(Although I have made many changes over the years, this material is based on my 2006 notes taken from a series of lectures given by Chuck Pierce [Glory of Zion]. So she called his name Moses, saying, ‘Because I drew him out of the water’” (Exod. 2:10).

January 21st, 2026

http://www.firetribeglobal.com/the-fathers-heart-blog/january-21st-2026

http://www.firetribeglobal.com/the-fathers-heart-blog/january-21st-2026#comments

Uncategorized

Blessings for the Hebrew Month of Shevat Blessings for the Hebrew Month of ShevatShevat—The Eleventh Hebrew Month of 5786January 19–February 17, 2026Be Sure to Shout Your Agreement to the Promises of GodIt’s long been said that shouting out and forcefully declaring the goodness of God are important this month. Why is this? Why do we find the command to “shout” 18 different times in the book of Psalms? I think we know that it’s not so much a matter of volume as it is a forceful, faith-filled, wholehearted declaration of agreement with Him. Primarily, two different things occur when we shout/declare:

First, our words are released into the spiritual realm, including the second heavens, where principalities and powers and other forces of darkness reside and operate (Eph. 2:2, 6:12). Our words have a devastating effect on the enemy because it’s actually the wisdom of God that we are shouting/declaring—so that “the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places” (Eph. 3:10). And the Bible makes it clear that the wisdom of God brings the rulers of this age to nothing. Paul states, “We speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing” (1 Cor. 2:6).

Second, those shouts and strong declarations of faith affect us. We bring our inner man into full alignment and agreement with God. Now is the “Day of the Saints,” and this is a time of harvest. God wants to use each one of us to bear fruit for Him. Let’s do as this verse says: “Rejoice, O barren, you who do not bear! Break forth and shout, you who are not in labor! For the desolate has many more children than she who has a husband” (Gal. 4:27).

God promises that you will bear fruit. Shout out your agreement with Him!

1. Month of the tribe of Asher—In Genesis 49:20 [1] when Jacob blessed his sons, he said Asher would have an abundance of food and delicacies fit for a king. This really is what God wants for us—an abundant, overflowing life filled with good things. Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life … more abundantly” (John 10:10). If you really want that, then speak it out.

Declare: “Yes, God, You are making my life abundant.”

2. However, beware of overindulgence of delicacies (Prov. 23:3 [2])—Read the book of Daniel. He turned down the king’s delicacies and tested out ten times better than his peers. Ask and expect the Lord to help you in the areas of your life in which you need more self-control or discipline.

Declare, “God has given me the Spirit of self-control and He will help me not to be sidetracked by lesser things (“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” [2 Tim. 1:7]).”

3. A month to develop a plan to sustain the generations—The ones you mentor; how does your olive tree blossom? Remember that God’s desire is to use each one of us to raise up others so they too can flourish and hopefully surpass.

Declare, “God’s breath on me is extending to my family and all whom I mentor.”

4. Month of the Hebrew letter tsade [ץ]—Your righteousness becomes your foundation. It’s on this basis that we connect with the trees in our fields. What fields are there? Who is planted there? Are the trees ready to bear fruit?

Declare, “New and key connections are coming this month, and all will somehow result in harvest.”

5. Month of the constellation Aquarius, the water carrier—Your roots awaken to the water of life. The river of God touches our roots. We are like a tree planted by a river (Ps. 1:3 [3]). We should expect a great awakening in our lives with the Lord.

Declare, “Yes, this shall be a month—and a year—of fruitfulness.”

6. Look for those who are bringing pitchers of water to you—Decisions will be made so you can be watered in a new way. Trust the Lord to bring you people who will minister to you. Study the story of Rebecca in Genesis 24 (she brought water for Eliezer, which led to her marrying Isaac), and the Samaritan woman in John 4 (she came just for water, but received the water of life).

Declare, “The breath of God on me connects me with those God brings my way. The Lord wants me to treat everyone I meet with honor, so I will treat them that way. They will be blessed, and so will I with unexpected blessings.”

7. A month to shout, “My blessings are on the way.” Also declare, “My thirst will be quenched” (John 7:37–39 [4]).

8. Month of the new year of trees—Choose to eat of the tree of life (Gen. 3:22 [5]) and not rely on human effort and understanding.

Declare, “Lord, You are my source. You are showing me how to only eat of You.”

9. Month of the stomach and esophagus—What you’re tasting produces the life or nourishment for your future. Make sure to spend extra time reading God’s word this month. Let’s expect healing for people who have physical issues in these areas.

Declare, “I will obey the Lord in what I feed myself, both physically and spiritually.”

10. Be sure to eat the word—“Taste and see that the Lord is good” (Ps. 34:8).

Declare, “I am tasting of the Lord. He is good!” If we don’t know that He is good, we will miss revelation He wants to give us.

References

[1] “Bread from Asher shall be rich, and he shall yield royal dainties” (Gen. 49:20).

[2] “Do not desire his delicacies, for they are deceptive food” (Prov. 23:3).

[3] “He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper” (Ps. 1:3).

[4] “On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’ But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified” (John 7:37–39).

[5] “Then the Lord God said, ‘Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever’” (Gen. 3:22).

January 14th, 2026

http://www.firetribeglobal.com/the-fathers-heart-blog/january-14th-2026

http://www.firetribeglobal.com/the-fathers-heart-blog/january-14th-2026#comments

Uncategorized

Tevet : Blessings for the Hebrew Month Taking Definite Steps to AdvanceA key passage for this month is Isaiah 60:1–5. Verse 1 states, “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.” This is a command, and we have the choice of believing and obeying, or of disregarding it. The passage continues: “For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples” (v. 2). This is certainly true.
“But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you” (v. 2). We can choose to respond to all these things with faith and great hope. It’s our choice. As we do, the Lord Himself arises upon us. We will sense His presence, receive more faith, receive more hope, and walk in more boldness and confidence than ever.

What will be the result? “And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising” (v. 3). God wants His glory and light to be reflected off of each one of us. People will come to us because they can sense the hope and see the “light” (Jesus) that is on us. Even influential ones (kings) will come.

But these possible great results aren’t automatic. A key event on the 10th day of this 10th month (Dec. 30) in Bible history is the start of the siege of Jerusalem, culminating in its ultimate defeat. Why? Because of disobedience. Thus, this month is a time to reflect and meditate. What choices do I have to make so that I walk with the Lord the way He wants me to. What changes do I need to make so that I keep advancing and not fall back into old, negative patterns. As I ponder and ask the Holy Spirit, He will give wisdom.

Also, the letter of the month is ayin (ע) which means “eye” or “to see.” The more we recognize (see) that God is in everything, in all our circumstances, the more we will move into maturity. Conversely, an immature person quickly forgets/doesn’t see God, and makes immature choices.

1. Month of the tribe of Dan—Means to judge; to grow up and mature. See Genesis 49:16–18 [1]. Samson came from the tribe of Dan (Judges 13). Samson didn’t mature, and therefore failed to reach his potential. In Revelation 7, the tribe of Dan isn’t listed with the other tribes. It seems to have disappeared from history. We cannot expect to use “immaturity” as an excuse forever.

But despite the sadness of Samson’s failure, there is a positive—and perhaps prophetic—picture. Just as Samson killed more of the enemy in his final act than in all his previous years (Judges 16:30 [2]), we too can expect more harvest than ever before as God rapidly matures us. In just one day, Samson—repentant and relying on God—achieved more than he had in his whole lifetime. What a picture of end-time harvest! In just a short period of time, there will be greater harvest than all the harvest since the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2 until now.

Declare: “God is maturing me now. As Paul said, I am ‘forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead’” (Phil. 3:13).

2. Samson’s weakness was basically an inability to say “no” to his flesh—he put his fleshly desires above his vows and calling. As a Nazarite, he was to never cut his hair or eat anything unclean (Judges 13:4–5 [3]). Eating honey from a lion’s carcass broke that vow (Judges 14:9) [4]. Also, he should have run from Delilah, but his flesh kept him coming back. Gradually she wore him down and he revealed the source of his strength—that he was a Nazarite whose hair had never been shaved. His great gifting didn’t have the impact it could have. Say, “Lord, I choose to deal with my flesh and immaturities. I choose to walk in sync with You.”

Declaration: “The Lord is helping me to grow and mature. Thus, I am well able to deal with my immaturities and fleshly weaknesses.”

3. A month to fast—It was on Tevet 10 in 588 BC that Nebuchadnezzar II began the siege of Jerusalem (2 Kings 25:1 [5]). We know this was a culmination of Israel’s long ignoring/breaking of their covenant with God and their rebellion against Him. The enemy always wants to besiege us. Fasting helps us to be watchful and sharpens our spiritual senses to focus on the Lord and to keep aligned with Him. This year, Tevet 10 falls on December 30. Think of Samson and how fasting could have helped him say “no” to his flesh, and better enabled him to hear and respond to the Holy Spirit.

Declaration: If/as the Holy Spirit so leads me, I will fast and I will grow in watchfulness. The Lord will break any siege of the enemy against me.

4. Ending of Hanukkah (Dec. 15–22)—In the midst of destruction there is mercy. This festival means “the light will not go out.” No matter what the enemy does, God will come through and help us. He will provide the oil of the Holy Spirit so we can keep shining as “lights of the world” (John 8:12). This all connects to us dedicating and keeping our lives dedicated to the Lord (John 10:22). In the second century BC, the Maccabees rose up and led a revolt taking back their land and their temple. The enemy ruler had desecrated it completely, so the Jews cleansed it and rededicated it back to God. When it came to lighting the lamps in the Holy Place, there was a problem with the oil supply—they only had enough for one day. It required a whole week to prepare a new batch in the proper way. But they didn’t want to wait, so they lit the lamps immediately. And God gave them a miracle—the oil lasted not just a day, but seven days until the new batch was ready. The lesson for us is huge. When we dedicate our lives to Him for His purpose for us, He will always make sure we are filled with the oil of the Holy Spirit.

Declaration: “I dedicate myself to the Lord daily. I live for Him. He will keep me filled with the oil of the Holy Spirit.”

5. Month of the Hebrew letter ayin (ע)—It means “Let your good eye see.” The more we live our lives for Him and His purposes, the more we will see what He wants us to see. Remember Paul’s prayer, “that the eyes of your understanding being enlightened” (Eph. 1:18). Wisdom/maturity is seeing/recognizing God in all our circumstances.

6. A month to war with the evil eye and to break the power of evil watchers (if you don’t break that power, it will try to manipulate you). The evil-eye structure is embedded in our culture. It allows us to be manipulated by evil spirits. In Acts 13, Barnabas and Paul were hindered by Elymas the sorcerer. Paul prayed, and the Lord struck Elymas with blindness. Similarly, we can pray and ask the Lord to close the eyes of the enemy so we aren’t hindered. In 2 Kings 6:17–18 [6], Elisha prayed for the eyes of his servant to be opened. That servant was then able to see the angelic army protecting them. Elisha prayed again and the enemy army was blinded.

Declaration: “Ever since I rededicated myself, my home, and my work to the Lord, He has been enabling me to see and hear. Miracles are happening all around me. I will not be entrapped and led back to the old ways.”

7. Pray for our leaders—In 1 Timothy 2:2, Paul exhorts us to pray “for kings and all who are in authority.” Many strategies begin to be released at this time, as well as in April and July. God gives us people to lead and guide. We need to pray for them. A good leader will give us revelation. Be sure to pray for your spiritual covering, as well as for the political leaders of your nation.

Declaration: “I declare I will pray for my leaders (including those in my home, church, work, and nation).”

8. Review your education or what is initiating you into your next phase. Part of maturing is making sure you get the training and knowledge you need. Sign up for a course or training you need.

Declaration: “I declare the Holy Spirit enables me to be flexible. I am not locked into old ways. I eagerly accept the new training He has for me.”

9. Be angry but sin not—Anger itself isn’t necessarily a sin, but we have to be careful not to let it control us, as it can easily lead to sin. It rose up in Cain and he murdered his brother Abel (Gen. 4:5–8) [7]. In Ephesians 4:26–27 [8], we see anger is equated with being demonized. Note the suddenness of anger. If we don’t learn to process anger properly so our emotions are under control of the Holy Spirit, we will erupt and fail when the test comes. “Be angry and sin not” (Eph. 4:26). Get over your anger before nightfall. God will give you the opportunity. So when you have time, deal with it. For example, if you are between jobs, then pour the word of God into you and build yourself up.

Declaration: “I declare I am dealing with anger and any other hidden issues. The Lord is helping me mature.”

10. Month of the constellation of Capricorn, the goat—Hind’s feet on high places. See 2 Samuel 22:34 [9], Psalm 18:33 [10], and Habakkuk 3:19 [11]. God is enabling us to go to higher places in Him.

11. Time to leap like a goat (deer). Maturing doesn’t always have to be a long, slow process. The idea here is we can “leap” quickly to a state of maturity by the decisions we make. “The lame shall leap like a deer” (Isa. 35:6). “He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places” (Ps. 18:33).

Declaration: “I declare quick maturing. I can leap ahead like a deer.”

12. The month of the liver. The liver is important because it purifies. Proverbs 7:23 [12] talks about a dart in the liver (for the man who gave into sexual temptation). Sexual sin will affect your liver. We can trust God to purify us by the blood of Jesus. Think of His blood as entering your own bloodstream and cleansing you of the spiritual impurities that may be there because of your family bloodline or because of your own sin. When the liver is purified, the brain and heart also function more effectively.

Declaration: “I declare the blood of Jesus purifies me and my DNA whenever I confess sin. I also pray for those with liver problems to be healed.”

July 02nd, 2025

http://www.firetribeglobal.com/the-fathers-heart-blog/july-02nd-2025

http://www.firetribeglobal.com/the-fathers-heart-blog/july-02nd-2025#comments

Uncategorized

Rosh Chodesh TammuzA Biblical Invitation to Reflection and RenewalThe Month of Emotions and Sight Rosh Chodesh TammuzA Biblical Invitation to Reflection and RenewalThe Month of Emotions and SightLast weekend, the month of Tammuz began. In the Hebrew calendar, each new month begins not with a calendar flip, but with the new moon, a subtle but sacred sign.

This starting point is called Rosh Chodesh (ראש חודש), the “head of the month,” a time marked in the Bible with music, offerings, and spiritual attention (Numbers 10:10; Psalm 81:3).

The month of Tammuz, now underway, invites us to pause, reflect, and reset, especially in the realm of our emotions, vision, and inner balance. Rooted in biblical events and Hebrew wisdom, this season challenges us to examine what we see, how we feel, and how we walk by faith in uncertain times.
🌊 Tammuz - A Month of Emotional Testing

Tammuz is the fourth month of the biblical year, counting from Nisan, the month of the Exodus (Exodus 12:2).

According to Jewish tradition, it is a time when emotions tend to run high, and imbalance is common, yet it also offers a powerful chance for spiritual growth.

One of the most sobering biblical moments took place during Tammuz. On the 17th of Tammuz, just 40 days after the giving of the Ten Commandments at Sinai, the Israelites built the golden calf (Exodus 32). Moses descended, saw the idolatry, and shattered the tablets, postponing a divine promise of unbroken communion.

That same date, centuries later, became known for the breach of Jerusalem’s walls, marking the beginning of the Three Weeks - a mourning period that ends with the 9th of Av, when both Temples were destroyed.

This history isn’t just about the past. It teaches us that when our vision falters and patience runs out, we risk missing what God is doing.
The Power of Sight and the Challenge of Perception

Tammuz is connected to the sense of sight. Not merely physical seeing, but spiritual perception, our ability to see with faith, not fear. The tragedy of the golden calf began when the people saw that Moses delayed (Exodus 32:1). What they saw was absence. What they lacked was trust.

We’re reminded: “We walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

And yet, Yeshua also teaches us that our eyes shape our inner world: “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.” — Matthew 6:22

Tammuz is a call to look again, to lift our eyes from the distractions and distortions of the moment, and fix them on what is unseen, eternal, and true (2 Corinthians 4:18).
Did You Know? Tav and Chet - Endings, Openings, and Redemption

Each Hebrew month is linked with two letters believed to represent the spiritual meaning of the season. For Tammuz, these are:
Tav (ת) - the final letter of the Hebrew alphabet, symbolizing endings, physicality, and limits.
Chet (ח) - often associated with both sin (chet) and life (chai). It carries the potential for both fall and restoration.

This reminds us: even in seasons marked by failure (like the golden calf), the door to life remains open through repentance, mercy, and covenant.

Romans 5:20 echoes this hope:
“Where sin increased, grace increased all the more.”

🔥 How Can We Respond This Month?

Tammuz can stir restlessness, regret, and spiritual distraction. But it also calls us to:
🌿 Reflect on emotional patterns and spiritual sight
🙏 Return to God with patience, humility, and renewed trust
🤲 Reach out, counter emotional self-focus by sharing with others
📖 Revisit Scripture, especially stories of waiting, failure, and divine mercy
📖 Key Scriptures for Tammuz Reflection

Exodus 32 – The golden calf and broken tablets
Numbers 28:11–15 – Monthly offerings on Rosh Chodesh
2 Corinthians 4:18 – Fixing our eyes on what is unseen
Matthew 6:22 – The eye as the lamp of the body
Romans 5:20 – Grace in the face of sin

🙌 May this month of Tammuz be a time of insight, healing, and deeper walk with God.

If you’ve been feeling unsettled or emotionally stretched, you are not alone. The Hebrew calendar reminds us that even time itself has spiritual texture. How do we go through difficult times and not only survive but actually thrive? How do we shine in the midst of difficulties? The short answer is “the presence of the Lord.”

As I was writing the meaning of the word Tammuz—“glowing furnace,” I (and probably many of you as well) immediately thought of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego who were cast into Nebuchadnezzar’s fiery furnace for refusing to worship his statue. A rightly surprised Nebuchadnezzar promptly repented when he saw the figure of a fourth man in the furnace with them. It was the Lord Himself. It was His presence that was with the three friends (see Daniel 3).

What a lesson. God’s presence will see us through anything and everything. We must refuse to bow to pressure, fear, or anxiety. We must not give in to spiritual doldrums or apathy (a kind of worship of self or self-preservation), and we must keep worshiping the Lord. We will find His presence with us. We will not be harmed. Just like the fire burned away their ropes and bindings, we too will find ourselves increasingly set free because of the fires of pressure and difficulty. Also, just as those three men were then promoted, we also will find ourselves being promoted to a new level in the Lord.

A key verse for us is 1 Chronicles 16:11 (ESV), which states, “Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually!”

Historical Sketch

One of the intriguing days of this month is Tammuz 17 (July 13). Tammuz 17 is the day Moses broke the stone tablets on which the Ten Commandments had been written, because the people had made a golden calf and were worshiping it. Tammuz 17 is also the day the walls of Jerusalem were breached by the Babylonians in 423 BC, and again by the Romans about 500 years later in 70 AD.

Thus, Tammuz 17 marks the beginning of the three weeks known as the “dire straits.” These “dire straits” end on Av 9 (August 3), the date the Temple was destroyed by the Babylonians in 423 BC—and then the second Temple destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD.
The Month of Tammuz
1. A month to see and establish the brilliance of your righteousness. It’s important to remember Jesus’s words that we “are the light of the world” (Matt. 5:14), and that He wants us to shine. He said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matt. 5:16). If you don’t recognize that His light is in you and that you are already glowing, then how can you shine?

Declare: “Yes, Lord, I am shining because of your light in me. I declare I will shine brighter and brighter.”

2. A month to make choices so we fulfill our potential. The month of the tribe of Reuben. He lost his inheritance as firstborn. Reuben is an example of someone with great potential who didn’t deal with his basic issues and failed to excel. The Lord wants us to deal with blind spots and other unresolved issues so we can spring ahead. Genesis 49:3–4 describes Reuben as follows: “Beginning of power; excellence and dignity; unstable as water.”

Declare, “Lord, your light is shining in me. The more I acknowledge your presence, the more I will shine. You will expose and help me deal with blind spots. You will help me take care of them.”

3. A month to shine through our worship. One powerful way of worship is to individually sing from your heart to Him. The Holy Spirit will guide your prophetic singing, and you may find yourself singing things to the Lord that you have never thought of before. You will be in His presence. Note that Moses’s face glowed after being with the Lord. Also notice that the people worshiped the golden calf (see Exod. 32:1) [1] because they couldn’t accept delay. Therefore, thank God for any delay and keep worshiping Him. As we submit to Him in worship, He also brings issues in our lives into submission. Also note that God has given praise to us as a horn or weapon (see Ps. 148:14 [2]).

Declare, “Lord, no matter what situation I find myself in, I choose to declare that you have an answer.”

4. A month to either accept your calling or to speak an evil report of who you are. We have a choice of which it will be. People fall into negativity because they don’t know how to speak out who they are. You must like yourself. If you don’t, then there’s something about the Lord that you don’t like. Look at past prophecies of who you are and declare them during this month. They will be like seeds you sow which will bring a great harvest heading toward the Feast of Tabernacles in the fall.

Declare, “Lord, I am your child. You have called me. You have a greater destiny for me than I imagine and the time is now.”

5. The month of the letter chet [ח], which means “light radiating from your eyes.” The devil tries to put this light out. Chet is also tied to the number “8,” which signifies new beginnings; it also is referred to as the letter of “life,” but can also mean “sin.” Through this letter, God is showing us that we can, and must, choose correctly so we don’t fall into negativity. See Isaiah 42:6 [3] and Revelation 1:14 [4].

Declare, “Lord, your fire is burning in me. It’s your fire inside me that causes my eyes to shine with your light and life.”

6. The “filmstrip” month. Take time to look at yourself. If you keep going the way you are, how will you end up? Therefore, stop and make any necessary adjustments. But change can’t happen unless we “fear the Lord.” Perhaps David’s greatest achievement was to bring the ark of the covenant into Jerusalem. But first he failed and became afraid of the Lord (see 2 Sam. 6:9 [5]). It was this fear of the Lord that led to reverence—seeking the Lord and coming into His presence. Tell the Lord you choose to fear Him, and His wisdom will flow to you.” Proverbs 9:10 states, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”

7. The month where we must allow ourselves to be soft and vulnerable to the Lord. This month is linked with the constellation of the crab. Our shell must be removed so that we are vulnerable. If you don’t allow yourself to be vulnerable, you will become hardened and won’t be able to enter into the next stage of growth. Ask the Lord to remove any hardness or shell from you.

Declare, “Lord, when adversity arises, I choose not to be stubborn and withdraw, but instead will quickly look to you.”

8. A month to guard your heart—what you feel and think, as well as your eyes—what you allow yourself to see. “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse” (Deut. 11:26). See also Deuteronomy 30:15, which states, “I have set before you today life and good, death and evil.”

Declare, “I choose the fear of the Lord and life.”

9. The month of the right hand—the aligning covenant. See Song of Solomon 5:2–12. Remember your covenants—the right hand has to do with covenants and relationships. Our covenant with the Lord will only grow as we honor the covenants with the people He leads us to.

Declare, “The more I come into intimacy/friendship with the Lord, the better my covenants with people will be.”

December 02nd, 2024

http://www.firetribeglobal.com/the-fathers-heart-blog/december-02nd-2024

http://www.firetribeglobal.com/the-fathers-heart-blog/december-02nd-2024#comments

Uncategorized

Kislev 5785—The Ninth Hebrew MonthDecember 2–31, 2024Be Sure to CelebrateKislev is the ninth month. The number nine symbolizes fruitfulness, completion, fullness of blessings, and the Holy Spirit (nine gifts and nine fruit). This connects to our having received the “breath of God” as per Abraham and Sarah and the Eleven (see Gen. 17, John 20:21–23[1]), so think “exceeding fruitfulness.” This fruitfulness comes because of the miraculous power of God working in our lives. Rejoice!
1. The month of the tribe of Benjamin. He was the only one of the twelve born in the land of Israel. Especially now at this time, be sure to pray earnestly for Israel. The anti-Semitic spirit is an anti-Christ spirit and hates us just as much as it hates Israel. As you pray, be sure to remember the Lord’s promise to Abraham: “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you” (Gen. 12:3). Especially thank God for His hand of protection on Israel, and pray that the war would end and peace come to Israel and the surrounding nations.

2. A month to develop your warfare strategies, and a month to have prophetic revelation for war. Benjamin was the most gifted with the bow (which represents the prophetic). Genesis 49:27 states, “Benjamin is a ravenous wolf; in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.” This year, 5785, God has reminded us that His breath (the Holy Spirit) is upon us for exceeding fruitfulness (see Gen. 17).

3. A month to enter into a new level of trust and rest. Kislev comes after the flood and is connected to God’s rainbow covenant. Whenever worry or concerns rise up, remember that it is God who is in charge and He will take care of all we commit to Him.

4. The month of the Hebrew letter samekh [ס], which looks like a circle. It signifies trust, confidence, support, and coming full circle. Also note that the letter samekh is a circle. Think of yourself as being in the middle of it, surrounded by the care, safety, and protection of the Lord. Also rest in the truth that old negative cycles and patterns have been—and are being—broken so they won’t keep coming back.

5. A month to review your support system. The Lord has prepared new doors for us to go through. We should expect some new people to be connected to us. We will aid them, and they will aid us.

6. The month of the rainbow. You must “war” to have peace. This Biblical concept is important to recognize. Peace will not just happen; we have to fight for it. Whenever something negative arises, immediately go to the Lord and talk to Him. Talking to Him will put the situation into His hands. Be careful to not accept the words of the “accuser of the brethren” (Rev. 12:10) against anyone. Trust the Lord to take care of “problem people” and don’t worry about them.

7. The month of a sense of peace and tranquility. Last month marked the beginning of Noah’s flood and was a reminder to us to understand that a flood is a sign that we have something in our lives we have to deal with. God doesn’t want you to have to go through a flood again. But definitely thank the Lord for any “stumble.” Know that the Lord is holding you by your hand and this is an opportunity to deal with a blind spot (see Psalm 37:24) [2].

8. Kislev is known as the month of dreams. The Lord has been “piling up” things throughout the year. Often, He releases that revelation during the night. Expect dreams from the Holy Spirit as you sleep. They may be dreams resulting in healing, or dreams of vision for your life (like Jacob when he dreamed of the ladder to heaven).

9. You may have to let God heal you of some trauma so you can sleep better as well as receive dreams (which are sometimes blocked by trauma). Some dreams are just God replaying a memory of something. If needed, ask the Lord to heal you of that trauma and He will. We know from Psalm 127:2 that “He gives His beloved sleep.”

10. The month of the belly/womb/abdomen/river of God. Jesus said that if/when we thirst, we only need to come to Him and drink. This means talk to Him; spend time with Him. The result is a river of life flowing from us. This river is described in Ezekiel 47. At first it’s shallow, but it grows deeper. The river of His life flowing from you is deeper and it brings healing. Let the Lord use you for healing people and situations. Additionally, if you have physical issues with your stomach and abdomen, ask for and receive healing, as many others have.

11. A month to “shoot straight” and move quickly. This means when it’s time to decide on something, make the decision and move. Don’t be afraid to cut your losses and move on through.

12. The month of Sagittarius (the archer). It’s a time to fight against empires and cultures. Watch Israel, America, and any covenant nation. He has covenant with Israel. God also has covenant with the US and several other nations and has destinies for them. Consider how America has long been a light and a place of refuge—a chance for a second start for innumerable peoples from around the world. The anti-Christ spirit that we are seeing rise so rapidly aims to get the nation to abandon God and His covenant. Thank God that His people have arisen in spiritual warfare, and that great victory was manifest in the recent US election.

13. The eight-day-long Jewish holiday of Hanukkah (Dec. 26–Jan. 2) begins during Kislev and ends during Tevet. Hanukkah is about the miracle of lamp oil not running out. The Maccabees had taken back the temple, cleansed it, and rededicated it to the Lord. They didn’t have enough consecrated oil, but decided to light the lamps anyway. God miraculously intervened, and the oil lasted and lasted. What an incredible picture for all of us. When we give our lives fully to Him (which is His original intended purpose for us), He will make sure we never run out of the oil of the Holy Spirit. Our lamps will always shine brightly.

Also, I just learned that Jewish people were forbidden to fast during this feast. Be sure to rejoice.

References

[1] “Again Jesus said, ‘Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.’ And with that he breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. The blessings of the Lord are being poured out!

In Matthew 26:28, Jesus says about Himself, “For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

That word “shed” in the Greek means to POUR OUT! He is not just bringing us a trickle of His blood but a deluge of His blood covering!

Can you handle an outpouring of His cleansing and His blessings this month? I was challenged by this revelation myself as I heard God say to me in a dream, “Why do you refuse the wine when I am the One who poured it out for you?” Listen, He wasn’t meaning alcohol. He was saying that He has the authority to pour out His new wine, and we should receive that cup of blessings and abundancy.

Now, I am saved, so when God said this to me, it was not a statement reflecting salvation. It was to challenge my thinking, how I accept so much less than what God wants for me and wants to give me at times. He wants to bless us with so much more!

You can only receive from God what you can “see” through your own lens. If your lens devalues or makes less of something that God sees as great, you will diminish that blessing and render it powerless.

God can set you free from sin, death and the grave AND be the power that ascends you into the heavenly realms. Surrender to His greatness and love for you and reevaluate your own eyesight. Do you see it small or big? I want to see big, overflowing, amazing, super abundance, and more than enough!

Today, is your day to say goodbye to sin, guilt, shame, fear, loss, and yesterday’s lack. It’s time to walk out of bondage and step into freedom. If you need to experience this freedom, simply pray this prayer with me:

“Father, forgive me, for I have sinned. Cleanse my heart. Help me to walk in Your freedom and live for you daily. I believe Jesus died on the cross for me and that He is the Son of God. I want to walk in your blessings and abundance. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Join me in this month of Nissan as we remember that Moses took an unblemished lamb and spread its blood on Israelites’ doorposts so that the angel of death would pass over. Let’s also remember with word and communion the Last Supper and how Jesus is our Passover Lamb. He poured Himself out for each one of us.

1 Timothy 1:15-17 says, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit forth is cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all long suffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory forever and ever. Amen.”

As the Apostle Paul says (and I’m paraphrasing), “I am a chief sinner, but He is greater than my sin and gave Himself that I might live every day to the fullest!”

Make this your prayer: “Lord, open my eyes that I might see His abundant grace over me. Help me to see the ‘greater than’ instead of shrinking back to the ‘less than!’ He will honor it, and you will see your faith increase to believe for and receive all He has for you.

It is time again to Honor God and Give Him your BEST PASSOVER OFFERING today in accordance with Deuteronomy 16:16-17 which reads, “ “Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the Feast of Unleavened bread (Passover), and in the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost), and in the Feast of Tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the Lord empty: Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee.”

  Give cashapp

February 21st, 2024

http://www.firetribeglobal.com/the-fathers-heart-blog/february-21st-2024

http://www.firetribeglobal.com/the-fathers-heart-blog/february-21st-2024#comments

Uncategorized

How to Grow in the Power and Fire of the Holy Spirit I’ve been reading Acts, and it’s remarkable the great power released through the apostles and any other believer when they were baptized in the Holy Spirit. So I’ve been thinking, “Lord, how can we increase, because Your promise to them is the same as a promise to us. And in Acts 1:8, Jesus said, ‘You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes,’ and in Luke 24:49, He said, ‘You will be clothed with power from on high.’”

So, how do we increase in the power of the Holy Spirit and the fire of God? After all, Jesus Himself said, “He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire” (Matt. 3:11).

When I asked the Lord about this, I immediately was drawn to Deuteronomy. In Deuteronomy 9:3, God is described as a consuming fire who will go before them so they can easily destroy the enemy. In Deuteronomy 11:13–17, Moses tells them they must love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul, and mind. If they don’t do that, then He won’t give them rain, the crops won’t grow, and they won’t prosper. God wants it to be easy for them because of the rain.

As we know, rain is a symbol of the pouring out of the Holy Spirit, and Moses clearly tells them if you love the Lord wholly, God will give you the rain. In Deuteronomy 11:22–25, Moses goes on to say the enemy can’t stand before you, and that everywhere your feet tread shall be given to you. This is because of the fire of God, but the principal is the same—love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.

So how do we increase in Holy Spirit in power and fire? Simple. Set your heart on loving the Lord more and more.

Here are two simple steps. First, spend time with him. In Psalm 27:4, David says what he longs for the most is to dwell in the Lord’s presence—so spend time with Him. If you love someone, you want to be with them. Spend time in His presence.

Second, ask and inquire of Him. Again, that’s what David said in Psalm 27:4. He said he wanted to behold the beauty of the Lord and inquire of Him. Begin asking the Lord questions. Ask him about things in your life. Ask him to give you revelation and insight, and He will.

We are now in the time of great harvest, and this is very true in Oklahoma. We need more of the Holy Spirit’s power and fire so the enemy can’t thwart us or hinder us.
