Rosh Chodesh Tammuz
A Biblical Invitation to Reflection and Renewal
The Month of Emotions and Sight

Rosh Chodesh Tammuz
A Biblical Invitation to Reflection and Renewal
The Month of Emotions and Sight

Last weekend, the month of Tammuz began. In the Hebrew calendar, each new month begins not with a calendar flip, but with the new moon, a subtle but sacred sign.

This starting point is called Rosh Chodesh (ראש חודש), the “head of the month,” a time marked in the Bible with music, offerings, and spiritual attention (Numbers 10:10; Psalm 81:3).

The month of Tammuz, now underway, invites us to pause, reflect, and reset, especially in the realm of our emotions, vision, and inner balance. Rooted in biblical events and Hebrew wisdom, this season challenges us to examine what we see, how we feel, and how we walk by faith in uncertain times.
🌊 Tammuz - A Month of Emotional Testing

Tammuz is the fourth month of the biblical year, counting from Nisan, the month of the Exodus (Exodus 12:2).

According to Jewish tradition, it is a time when emotions tend to run high, and imbalance is common, yet it also offers a powerful chance for spiritual growth.

One of the most sobering biblical moments took place during Tammuz. On the 17th of Tammuz, just 40 days after the giving of the Ten Commandments at Sinai, the Israelites built the golden calf (Exodus 32). Moses descended, saw the idolatry, and shattered the tablets, postponing a divine promise of unbroken communion.

That same date, centuries later, became known for the breach of Jerusalem’s walls, marking the beginning of the Three Weeks - a mourning period that ends with the 9th of Av, when both Temples were destroyed.

This history isn’t just about the past. It teaches us that when our vision falters and patience runs out, we risk missing what God is doing.
The Power of Sight and the Challenge of Perception

Tammuz is connected to the sense of sight. Not merely physical seeing, but spiritual perception, our ability to see with faith, not fear. The tragedy of the golden calf began when the people saw that Moses delayed (Exodus 32:1). What they saw was absence. What they lacked was trust.

We’re reminded: “We walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

And yet, Yeshua also teaches us that our eyes shape our inner world: “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.” — Matthew 6:22

Tammuz is a call to look again, to lift our eyes from the distractions and distortions of the moment, and fix them on what is unseen, eternal, and true (2 Corinthians 4:18).
Did You Know?  Tav and Chet - Endings, Openings, and Redemption

Each Hebrew month is linked with two letters believed to represent the spiritual meaning of the season. For Tammuz, these are:
Tav (ת) - the final letter of the Hebrew alphabet, symbolizing endings, physicality, and limits.
Chet (ח) - often associated with both sin (chet) and life (chai). It carries the potential for both fall and restoration.

This reminds us: even in seasons marked by failure (like the golden calf), the door to life remains open through repentance, mercy, and covenant.

Romans 5:20 echoes this hope:
“Where sin increased, grace increased all the more.”

🔥 How Can We Respond This Month?

Tammuz can stir restlessness, regret, and spiritual distraction. But it also calls us to:
🌿 Reflect on emotional patterns and spiritual sight
🙏 Return to God with patience, humility, and renewed trust
🤲 Reach out, counter emotional self-focus by sharing with others
📖 Revisit Scripture, especially stories of waiting, failure, and divine mercy
📖 Key Scriptures for Tammuz Reflection

Exodus 32 – The golden calf and broken tablets
Numbers 28:11–15 – Monthly offerings on Rosh Chodesh
2 Corinthians 4:18 – Fixing our eyes on what is unseen
Matthew 6:22 – The eye as the lamp of the body
Romans 5:20 – Grace in the face of sin

🙌 May this month of Tammuz be a time of insight, healing, and deeper walk with God.

If you’ve been feeling unsettled or emotionally stretched, you are not alone. The Hebrew calendar reminds us that even time itself has spiritual texture. And when we understand the patterns of Scripture, we find strength to endure, wisdom to grow, and hope that outlasts every shadow.

Tammuz 5785—The Fourth Month of the Hebrew Year
June 26–July 25, 2025

Tammuz 5785—The Fourth Month of the Hebrew Year
June 26–July 25, 2025

Going through the Month of “Heating” or the “Glowing Furnace” with the Presence of the Lord!
Apparently Tammuz actually means “heating” or “glowing furnace,” which is very appropriate for this month of what can be difficult times (see “Historical Sketch” below). How do we go through difficult times and not only survive but actually thrive? How do we shine in the midst of difficulties? The short answer is “the presence of the Lord.”

As I was writing the meaning of the word Tammuz—“glowing furnace,” I (and probably many of you as well) immediately thought of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego who were cast into Nebuchadnezzar’s fiery furnace for refusing to worship his statue. A rightly surprised Nebuchadnezzar promptly repented when he saw the figure of a fourth man in the furnace with them. It was the Lord Himself. It was His presence that was with the three friends (see Daniel 3).

What a lesson. God’s presence will see us through anything and everything. We must refuse to bow to pressure, fear, or anxiety. We must not give in to spiritual doldrums or apathy (a kind of worship of self or self-preservation), and we must keep worshiping the Lord. We will find His presence with us. We will not be harmed. Just like the fire burned away their ropes and bindings, we too will find ourselves increasingly set free because of the fires of pressure and difficulty. Also, just as those three men were then promoted, we also will find ourselves being promoted to a new level in the Lord.

A key verse for us is 1 Chronicles 16:11 (ESV), which states, “Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually!”

Historical Sketch

One of the intriguing days of this month is Tammuz 17 (July 13). Tammuz 17 is the day Moses broke the stone tablets on which the Ten Commandments had been written, because the people had made a golden calf and were worshiping it. Tammuz 17 is also the day the walls of Jerusalem were breached by the Babylonians in 423 BC, and again by the Romans about 500 years later in 70 AD.

Thus, Tammuz 17 marks the beginning of the three weeks known as the “dire straits.” These “dire straits” end on Av 9 (August 3), the date the Temple was destroyed by the Babylonians in 423 BC—and then the second Temple destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD.

The Month of Tammuz
1. A month to see and establish the brilliance of your righteousness. It’s important to remember Jesus’s words that we “are the light of the world” (Matt. 5:14), and that He wants us to shine. He said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matt. 5:16). If you don’t recognize that His light is in you and that you are already glowing, then how can you shine?

Declare: “Yes, Lord, I am shining because of your light in me. I declare I will shine brighter and brighter.”

2. A month to make choices so we fulfill our potential. The month of the tribe of Reuben. He lost his inheritance as firstborn. Reuben is an example of someone with great potential who didn’t deal with his basic issues and failed to excel. The Lord wants us to deal with blind spots and other unresolved issues so we can spring ahead. Genesis 49:3–4 describes Reuben as follows: “Beginning of power; excellence and dignity; unstable as water.”

Declare, “Lord, your light is shining in me. The more I acknowledge your presence, the more I will shine. You will expose and help me deal with blind spots. You will help me take care of them.”

3. A month to shine through our worship. One powerful way of worship is to individually sing from your heart to Him. The Holy Spirit will guide your prophetic singing, and you may find yourself singing things to the Lord that you have never thought of before. You will be in His presence. Note that Moses’s face glowed after being with the Lord. Also notice that the people worshiped the golden calf (see Exod. 32:1) [1] because they couldn’t accept delay. Therefore, thank God for any delay and keep worshiping Him. As we submit to Him in worship, He also brings issues in our lives into submission. Also note that God has given praise to us as a horn or weapon (see Ps. 148:14 [2]).

Declare, “Lord, no matter what situation I find myself in, I choose to declare that you have an answer.”

4. A month to either accept your calling or to speak an evil report of who you are. We have a choice of which it will be. People fall into negativity because they don’t know how to speak out who they are. You must like yourself. If you don’t, then there’s something about the Lord that you don’t like. Look at past prophecies of who you are and declare them during this month. They will be like seeds you sow which will bring a great harvest heading toward the Feast of Tabernacles in the fall.

Declare, “Lord, I am your child. You have called me. You have a greater destiny for me than I imagine and the time is now.”

5. The month of the letter chet [ח], which means “light radiating from your eyes.” The devil tries to put this light out. Chet is also tied to the number “8,” which signifies new beginnings; it also is referred to as the letter of “life,” but can also mean “sin.” Through this letter, God is showing us that we can, and must, choose correctly so we don’t fall into negativity. See Isaiah 42:6 [3] and Revelation 1:14 [4].

Declare, “Lord, your fire is burning in me. It’s your fire inside me that causes my eyes to shine with your light and life.”

6. The “filmstrip” month. Take time to look at yourself. If you keep going the way you are, how will you end up? Therefore, stop and make any necessary adjustments. But change can’t happen unless we “fear the Lord.” Perhaps David’s greatest achievement was to bring the ark of the covenant into Jerusalem. But first he failed and became afraid of the Lord (see 2 Sam. 6:9 [5]). It was this fear of the Lord that led to reverence—seeking the Lord and coming into His presence. Tell the Lord you choose to fear Him, and His wisdom will flow to you.” Proverbs 9:10 states, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”

7. The month where we must allow ourselves to be soft and vulnerable to the Lord. This month is linked with the constellation of the crab. Our shell must be removed so that we are vulnerable. If you don’t allow yourself to be vulnerable, you will become hardened and won’t be able to enter into the next stage of growth. Ask the Lord to remove any hardness or shell from you.

Declare, “Lord, when adversity arises, I choose not to be stubborn and withdraw, but instead will quickly look to you.”

8. A month to guard your heart—what you feel and think, as well as your eyes—what you allow yourself to see. “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse” (Deut. 11:26). See also Deuteronomy 30:15, which states, “I have set before you today life and good, death and evil.”

Declare, “I choose the fear of the Lord and life.”

9. The month of the right hand—the aligning covenant. See Song of Solomon 5:2–12. Remember your covenants—the right hand has to do with covenants and relationships. Our covenant with the Lord will only grow as we honor the covenants with the people He leads us to.

Declare, “The more I come into intimacy/friendship with the Lord, the better my covenants with people will be.”

Kislev 5785—The Ninth Hebrew Month
December 2–31, 2024

Be Sure to Celebrate
Kislev is the ninth month. The number nine symbolizes fruitfulness, completion, fullness of blessings, and the Holy Spirit (nine gifts and nine fruit). This connects to our having received the “breath of God” as per Abraham and Sarah and the Eleven (see Gen. 17, John 20:21–23[1]), so think “exceeding fruitfulness.” This fruitfulness comes because of the miraculous power of God working in our lives. Rejoice!
1. The month of the tribe of Benjamin. He was the only one of the twelve born in the land of Israel. Especially now at this time, be sure to pray earnestly for Israel. The anti-Semitic spirit is an anti-Christ spirit and hates us just as much as it hates Israel. As you pray, be sure to remember the Lord’s promise to Abraham: “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you” (Gen. 12:3). Especially thank God for His hand of protection on Israel, and pray that the war would end and peace come to Israel and the surrounding nations.

2. A month to develop your warfare strategies, and a month to have prophetic revelation for war. Benjamin was the most gifted with the bow (which represents the prophetic). Genesis 49:27 states, “Benjamin is a ravenous wolf; in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.” This year, 5785, God has reminded us that His breath (the Holy Spirit) is upon us for exceeding fruitfulness (see Gen. 17).

3. A month to enter into a new level of trust and rest. Kislev comes after the flood and is connected to God’s rainbow covenant. Whenever worry or concerns rise up, remember that it is God who is in charge and He will take care of all we commit to Him.

4. The month of the Hebrew letter samekh [ס], which looks like a circle. It signifies trust, confidence, support, and coming full circle. Also note that the letter samekh is a circle. Think of yourself as being in the middle of it, surrounded by the care, safety, and protection of the Lord. Also rest in the truth that old negative cycles and patterns have been—and are being—broken so they won’t keep coming back.

5. A month to review your support system. The Lord has prepared new doors for us to go through. We should expect some new people to be connected to us. We will aid them, and they will aid us.

6. The month of the rainbow. You must “war” to have peace. This Biblical concept is important to recognize. Peace will not just happen; we have to fight for it. Whenever something negative arises, immediately go to the Lord and talk to Him. Talking to Him will put the situation into His hands. Be careful to not accept the words of the “accuser of the brethren” (Rev. 12:10) against anyone. Trust the Lord to take care of “problem people” and don’t worry about them.

7. The month of a sense of peace and tranquility. Last month marked the beginning of Noah’s flood and was a reminder to us to understand that a flood is a sign that we have something in our lives we have to deal with. God doesn’t want you to have to go through a flood again. But definitely thank the Lord for any “stumble.” Know that the Lord is holding you by your hand and this is an opportunity to deal with a blind spot (see Psalm 37:24) [2].

8. Kislev is known as the month of dreams. The Lord has been “piling up” things throughout the year. Often, He releases that revelation during the night. Expect dreams from the Holy Spirit as you sleep. They may be dreams resulting in healing, or dreams of vision for your life (like Jacob when he dreamed of the ladder to heaven).

9. You may have to let God heal you of some trauma so you can sleep better as well as receive dreams (which are sometimes blocked by trauma). Some dreams are just God replaying a memory of something. If needed, ask the Lord to heal you of that trauma and He will. We know from Psalm 127:2 that “He gives His beloved sleep.”

10. The month of the belly/womb/abdomen/river of God. Jesus said that if/when we thirst, we only need to come to Him and drink. This means talk to Him; spend time with Him. The result is a river of life flowing from us. This river is described in Ezekiel 47. At first it’s shallow, but it grows deeper. The river of His life flowing from you is deeper and it brings healing. Let the Lord use you for healing people and situations. Additionally, if you have physical issues with your stomach and abdomen, ask for and receive healing, as many others have.

11. A month to “shoot straight” and move quickly. This means when it’s time to decide on something, make the decision and move. Don’t be afraid to cut your losses and move on through.

12. The month of Sagittarius (the archer). It’s a time to fight against empires and cultures. Watch Israel, America, and any covenant nation. He has covenant with Israel. God also has covenant with the US and several other nations and has destinies for them. Consider how America has long been a light and a place of refuge—a chance for a second start for innumerable peoples from around the world. The anti-Christ spirit that we are seeing rise so rapidly aims to get the nation to abandon God and His covenant. Thank God that His people have arisen in spiritual warfare, and that great victory was manifest in the recent US election.

13. The eight-day-long Jewish holiday of Hanukkah (Dec. 26–Jan. 2) begins during Kislev and ends during Tevet. Hanukkah is about the miracle of lamp oil not running out. The Maccabees had taken back the temple, cleansed it, and rededicated it to the Lord. They didn’t have enough consecrated oil, but decided to light the lamps anyway. God miraculously intervened, and the oil lasted and lasted. What an incredible picture for all of us. When we give our lives fully to Him (which is His original intended purpose for us), He will make sure we never run out of the oil of the Holy Spirit. Our lamps will always shine brightly.

Also, I just learned that Jewish people were forbidden to fast during this feast. Be sure to rejoice.

It is going to be a great week in the spirit realms for you! The blessings of the Lord are being poured out!

It is going to be a great week in the spirit realms for you! The blessings of the Lord are being poured out!

In Matthew 26:28, Jesus says about Himself, “For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

That word “shed” in the Greek means to POUR OUT! He is not just bringing us a trickle of His blood but a deluge of His blood covering!

Can you handle an outpouring of His cleansing and His blessings this month? I was challenged by this revelation myself as I heard God say to me in a dream, “Why do you refuse the wine when I am the One who poured it out for you?” Listen, He wasn’t meaning alcohol. He was saying that He has the authority to pour out His new wine, and we should receive that cup of blessings and abundancy.

Now, I am saved, so when God said this to me, it was not a statement reflecting salvation. It was to challenge my thinking, how I accept so much less than what God wants for me and wants to give me at times. He wants to bless us with so much more!

You can only receive from God what you can “see” through your own lens. If your lens devalues or makes less of something that God sees as great, you will diminish that blessing and render it powerless.

God can set you free from sin, death and the grave AND be the power that ascends you into the heavenly realms. Surrender to His greatness and love for you and reevaluate your own eyesight. Do you see it small or big? I want to see big, overflowing, amazing, super abundance, and more than enough!

Today, is your day to say goodbye to sin, guilt, shame, fear, loss, and yesterday’s lack. It’s time to walk out of bondage and step into freedom. If you need to experience this freedom, simply pray this prayer with me:

“Father, forgive me, for I have sinned. Cleanse my heart. Help me to walk in Your freedom and live for you daily. I believe Jesus died on the cross for me and that He is the Son of God. I want to walk in your blessings and abundance. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Join me in this month of Nissan as we remember that Moses took an unblemished lamb and spread its blood on Israelites’ doorposts so that the angel of death would pass over. Let’s also remember with word and communion the Last Supper and how Jesus is our Passover Lamb. He poured Himself out for each one of us.

1 Timothy 1:15-17 says, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit forth is cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all long suffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory forever and ever. Amen.”

As the Apostle Paul says (and I’m paraphrasing), “I am a chief sinner, but He is greater than my sin and gave Himself that I might live every day to the fullest!”

Make this your prayer: “Lord, open my eyes that I might see His abundant grace over me. Help me to see the ‘greater than’ instead of shrinking back to the ‘less than!’ He will honor it, and you will see your faith increase to believe for and receive all He has for you.

It is time again to Honor God and Give Him your BEST PASSOVER OFFERING today in accordance with Deuteronomy 16:16-17 which reads, “ “Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the Feast of Unleavened bread (Passover), and in the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost), and in the Feast of Tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the Lord empty: Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee.”

How to Grow in the Power and Fire of the Holy Spirit

I’ve been reading Acts, and it’s remarkable the great power released through the apostles and any other believer when they were baptized in the Holy Spirit. So I’ve been thinking, “Lord, how can we increase, because Your promise to them is the same as a promise to us. And in Acts 1:8, Jesus said, ‘You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes,’ and in Luke 24:49, He said, ‘You will be clothed with power from on high.’”

So, how do we increase in the power of the Holy Spirit and the fire of God? After all, Jesus Himself said, “He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire” (Matt. 3:11).

When I asked the Lord about this, I immediately was drawn to Deuteronomy. In Deuteronomy 9:3, God is described as a consuming fire who will go before them so they can easily destroy the enemy. In Deuteronomy 11:13–17, Moses tells them they must love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul, and mind. If they don’t do that, then He won’t give them rain, the crops won’t grow, and they won’t prosper. God wants it to be easy for them because of the rain.

As we know, rain is a symbol of the pouring out of the Holy Spirit, and Moses clearly tells them if you love the Lord wholly, God will give you the rain. In Deuteronomy 11:22–25, Moses goes on to say the enemy can’t stand before you, and that everywhere your feet tread shall be given to you. This is because of the fire of God, but the principal is the same—love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.

So how do we increase in Holy Spirit in power and fire? Simple. Set your heart on loving the Lord more and more.

Here are two simple steps. First, spend time with him. In Psalm 27:4, David says what he longs for the most is to dwell in the Lord’s presence—so spend time with Him. If you love someone, you want to be with them. Spend time in His presence.

Second, ask and inquire of Him. Again, that’s what David said in Psalm 27:4. He said he wanted to behold the beauty of the Lord and inquire of Him. Begin asking the Lord questions. Ask him about things in your life. Ask him to give you revelation and insight, and He will.

We are now in the time of great harvest, and this is very true in Oklahoma. We need more of the Holy Spirit’s power and fire so the enemy can’t thwart us or hinder us. That everywhere our feet tread, the Lord would give to us—and that as we share the Good News, there will be many signs and wonders.

God Bless.

Adar 1: Blessings for the Hebrew MonthAdar 1—The Twelfth Hebrew Month of 5784
February 10–March 10, 2024

Please note this is a leap year. In leap years, Adar becomes Adar 1, and is followed by Adar 2 (March 11–April 8). Purim (March 23–24) will be celebrated in Adar 2.

Speaking Truth in Your Heart

One thing He has shown me clearly is to think and speak only what lines up with Him and His word. Psalm 15:1–2 states, “Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart.”

This simply means I can’t entertain thoughts that are against what He says. For example, God says, “I am with you. I will take care of this. You don’t need to worry. I hear your prayers.” Those truths are very clear—very clear. But it’s easy to wonder if God really is in charge—if He really is going to take care of me.

I must not allow those thoughts to get into my heart. I must not entertain them in my thinking. As I safeguard my thoughts, there is incredible peace and joy because I know God is in charge. Let me reiterate: whenever worry or negative thoughts come, we must take those thoughts captive because really that’s part of spiritual warfare. It’s through our thinking that the devil gains and keeps footholds in our lives. We must not allow this.

So in these two months of Adar 1 and 2, ask the Holy Spirit to continually help so that we are only thinking and speaking truth in our inward parts.

The result will be incredible fellowship with Jesus! Psalm 15:1 asks: “Who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill?” And 15:2 responds: “He who walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart.

This incredible truth fits every single blessing for the months of Adar. Don’t accept any falsehood or any lie. Believe that God is good and He has all these blessings for us.

1. Month of the tribe of Naphtali, which means “sweetness to me.” Deuteronomy 33:23 states, “Naphtali is abounding with favor of the Lord.” Think this truth in your heart, and speak it and watch it come to pass in your life.

Declare: I am abounding with the favor of the Lord.

2. Month of eloquent communication and expressions of joy and laughter. Genesis 49:21 states, “Naphtali is a deer let loose; he uses beautiful words.” The Holy Spirit will help us find words to fully express God’s goodness. This not only solidifies our faith, but also opens the eyes of others to the goodness of God.

Declare: The Holy Spirit continually gives me good things and words of grace to say.

3. Month of Pisces, the fishes. Find your supply in the “hidden” world (e.g., the coin in the fish’s mouth). Provision is more than just finances. It also has to do with identity. There is an identity for you in the invisible world and you must find it. The angels recognize it. So do the demonic forces, who want to hide it and keep you from entering into it. Fully embrace and step into that identity.

Declare: I embrace my identity as God’s warrior. God provides for me.

4. God has cycles to help us come into our identity. What we are in our spirit will be reflected physically. Some of God’s tools to help us enter our identity include celebration, expressing our thankfulness, and family. The more I find my place in His family, the more my true identity emerges. It’s also why God wants to restore our natural families.

Declare: The more I celebrate, the more I enter into my true identity.

5. The month of the letter kaf (כ), which looks like a mask. It’s a time to remove any masquerade and enter into laughter; enter into the true joy of who you are. We need to remove any mask and be ourselves. Rejoicing is one of the most important tools for “mask removal.”

Declare: The more I rejoice, the more “masks” fall off.

6. A month to overturn anxiety over your supply. If you remove anxiety, then you can see your supply. But if you are ruled by anxiety, then you can miss the provision God has for you (Phil. 4:6–7) [1]. Every time you feel anxiety rising, just remind yourself that God is your source and He is always faithful.

Declare: The moment I feel anxious about supply, I will immediately declare God is my provider.

7. The month of laughter, abounding joy, the witnessing of life entering into darkness, the advantage of light over darkness, the power of barrenness being broken. No matter what the darkness is, laugh and watch God permeate it. Light permeates darkness. When we see this, barrenness will break. Begin to laugh at fear (Ps. 34:4–6) [2]. Try it. Is some fearful thing oppressing you? Laugh at it.

Declare: The joy of the Lord is my strength. My laughter breaks barrenness and activates God’s promises to come to fulfillment.

8. The month of the spleen. Pull out any roots of depression and despair so that faith can break through into our thought processes.

Declare: Depression and despair have no place in me.

9. The month Moses was born. Your deliverance is forming. Take a look at whatever is holding you captive and declare God’s truth. Declare He is already forming deliverance and freedom for you, and that it is on the way (Exod. 2:10) [3].

Declare: Jesus has made me free. For any remaining bondage in my life, deliverance is already under way.

10. A month to develop your war strategy against the anti-Christ spirit. Don’t let the giants produce fear in you; guard against idolatry. Amalek will try to come. See Exodus 17:8–16. Note that Amalek attacked from the rear. Be sure you are not “holding back.” Also, when Moses’s hands were held up, Israel prevailed. For us, this means we can keep our “hands raised” by staying in faith and joy. This will keep us in the victory of the Lord.

Declare: Whenever I sense fear or worry come, I will raise my hands in faith and declare all things are in His hands.

11. A time for wrong decrees to be broken off of you. If wrong decrees are heeded to, they will encircle you and will cause others to say the same negative things about you. You need to break off the negative things decreed about you. I suggest praying and asking the Holy Spirit to reveal some wrong decrees, both self-made and “others-made.” Forgive those who uttered them, put the blood of Jesus on those wrong decrees, and then break them in His name.

Declare: I forgive those who have “cursed” me. I break off every wrong decree over my life.

12. A time for leadership to awaken. Next month they go to war.

Declare: I am a leader, and I am arising.

This Av first fruit blessing prayer is for the month of Av which starts on July 19th Part 1 insight

This Av first fruit blessing prayer is for the month of Av which starts on
July 19, 2023 – Av 1, 5783
This month begins on a somber note.  First, starting in Tammuz which we know speaks of the idolatry, 3 weeks of mourning which starts on 17th Tammuz through to Tisha B’Av which is 9th Av.  Jews also fast on the 9th on Av for 25 hours.

The month starts off with fasting and repentance.  This time of fasting and repentance is to keep the minds and hearts of the Jewish people focused on the Lord.  Why?  Because this is a season when really bad things happened in their history.  Just to name a few:
1) During this time, both Temples were destroyed. I believe there was 585 years between the destruction of the 1st temple and the 2nd temple.  What are the chances that both got destroyed during the same time period?
2)  This was also the time when the spies returned with the bad report about the giants in the land and God decided it was their last chance and killed everyone over the age of 20.  They were not allowed to cross over.

Numbers 14:28-30, 36-37
Now tell them this: ‘As surely as I live, declares the Lord, I will do to you the very things I heard you say. You will all drop dead in this wilderness! Because you complained against me, every one of you who is twenty years old or older and was included in the registration will die. You will not enter and occupy the land I swore to give you. The only exceptions will be Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

The ten men Moses had sent to explore the land—the ones who incited rebellion against the Lord with their bad report--  were struck dead with a plague before the Lord.
3)  This was the time when Aaron, high priest and Moses’ bother died.  At the age of 123. (Numbers 33:39)  If God speaks with you using numbers, then your 123 will start changing to 456 indicating the crossing over.

4)  This period of time (3 weeks of mourning) is known as between the straits
(Lamentations 1:3)  “Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude: she dwelleth among the heathen, she findeth no rest: all her persecutors overtook her between the straits.”

A strait is a very narrow area where ships pass through.  There’s open waters after they pass through but during this time there is only one direction – forward.  What lies on the opposite side of the straits are the promises of God.  Therefore, this period of time is critical and I implore you to pay attention.  This is not the place to backup because there are other ships lined up behind you. The enemy doesn’t want us to move forward so he will launch attacks or bring about situations to keep us trapped in this place. Stuck.
The book of Lamentations is read during this time.  Have you ever read it?  It’s not the most uplifting book, and it ends on a somber note too.
Have you noticed that you go through cycles in your life? It’s like you keep going through the same thing over and over again!  Well, imagine that as your ship attempts to go through this strait that pirates come onboard your ship and hijack it and instead of moving forward, they just throttle you and then turn you in the opposite direction.  What felt like movement was just you going back in the same direction you are trying to escape. You never got through the narrow place because you were overtaken.  Hijacked.  I think people miss it because that overtaking is very subtle.  It is so subtle that if you are not paying attention, you can miss it.  They entered your ship so quietly.
What you may not know is that there is actually a time when you can break that cycle, did you know that? Yeah…this time of year. The thing is that we all think that some things are decided at the moment when they happen, which can be true sometimes, but then there are the bigger things that are actually destiny moves that get done at a particular time of year.
THAT’S WHEN YOU BREAK A CYCLE-It’s NOW!  NOW!!!!  This is the cycle breaking month!  NOW!  THIS MONTH!!!
Listen, GOD cut them off at this time of year (those who are not a part of the promise).  THEY were not allowed to cross over.  Jesus!  Change.  Something needs to change.  It is also the time when the enemy tries to establish something because it is literally that type of month.  It’s not in January.  Neither is it as the beginning of the Hebraic calendar.  Nope.  It’s now.

Pretend like this is January, whatever you need to get done, do it now.  Av is the month when cycles are broken, and things get established.
God is going to give you the opportunity to move out and the enemy is going to look for a way to move in.

Watch those old connections you disconnected from start to reappear in an attempt to throttle your ship, come aboard your ship and abort your destiny.  And, it is so subtle that if you are not paying attention, you will miss it because it comes with no fanfare!  You won’t even notice it until months down the road.
Throttle = Delay

This month is the time when you need to live each day intentionally.  When you get up in the morning be intentional about everything that you do.
I’m going to challenge you to do something different every week this month!  Switch things up!  Your brain is going to say “uh oh what’s going on?”  This is different.  And your brain will actually start to pay attention because you’re introducing something new!  You will be better able to discern the pirate.
It doesn’t even have to be a person! It could be a bad decision you are about to make to hijack your own destiny.  Sometimes it’s you and your self-sabotaging habits!
If you stop right now and look back to last year July/August you are going to realize that you DID some things or DID NOT do some things and that’s where a derailment occurred!  It’s Now!

You’re going to discover something about yourself and others by changing something. Sit in a different chair.
Keep in mind that bad things happened in this month too, so when you are more aware and intentional what you may discover is a plot from the enemy that you will be able to stop because you are now paying attention!!!

The enemy loves to get us when we are doing the same ole, same ole.  When you are aware, it is much harder for him to pull some stunt and catch you off guard.
This is why I tell you Mary needs to switch to Martha and the Martha’s need to switch into Mary mode.  There’s nothing wrong with either person but the shift will allow you to see things that you would never see.

Sometimes it is as simple as switching up the time when you do things.
Now, you need to know that you may not like everything that you see this month but know that you discovered it because God wants you to take care of that pirate…once and for all!  Time to break the cycle, you’ve been throttling long enough!  Do not be surprised if you start to realize that you agreed to some stuff earlier in July that you are now saying “what was I thinking?”  Well, you weren’t!  You were on autopilot which is why God wants you to pay attention, clean it up, cancel that and change how you do things!  You might still have time to change the decision. Click the undo button.  Fix it.

While the month of Av started off on a somber note it actually ends on a very good note!
5) The 15th of Av, is the equivalent of Valentine’s Day.  This is when a lot of weddings occur, and people find their spouses.  Yay!  For the single people!  The women get dressed up in white and go out into the vineyard to dance and the men pick their wives (Proverbs 18:22).  Yes, the men are the ones who do the picking, not the women!  Selah It is the grape harvest season.  Fruitfulness.
6)  It is a time for joy and happiness and restoration!!!
7)  Do you know the story of the daughters of Zelophehad? It happened around 15th of Av!  Numbers 27:1-11. I also wrote a prophetic word about them before as well. You can read it here. The bottom line is opening your mouth and asking for what you want because it is a season of God granting your requests, even the impossible!  ASK BIG.  You have not, because you asked not!  Ask.

8) This was also the time when the tribe of Benjamin was invited back into the community and allowed to intermarry with the other tribes because all the women of that tribe had died and this was necessary to keep the tribe going. They were excommunicated prior to this because of what they did here Judges 21.
This speaks to how God restores us after we’ve made mistakes.  Don’t you know He forgives us when we ask for it?  And, He is more than willing to restore us and give us even the things we think we don’t deserve!  Stop walking around in guilt and shame because of your past mistakes.  God wants to restore you.  You are forgiven, in Jesus name!

The tribe for the month is Simeon
Here is the words spoken over Simeon by Jacob
Genesis 49:5-7  “Simeon and Levi are two of a kind. They are men of violence and injustice. O my soul, stay away from them. May I never be a party to their wicked plans. For in their anger they murdered a man, and maimed oxen just for fun. Cursed be their anger, for it is fierce and cruel. Therefore, I will scatter their descendants throughout Israel.”
Hmmm, this sounds like Simeon was a bad guy!  I’m wondering if Simeon was the “ringleader” in what happened to Joseph?  Devising wicked plans and angry enough to murder a man.  And you know you are dealing with a different type of person when they hurt animals for fun, right?  That’s generally when you know someone is troubled.
During the famine, and after Joseph was already the Prime Minister of Egypt, when the brothers went to get grain (Genesis 42:24), Joseph chose to keep Simeon in jail while the other brothers went back to get Benjamin.  I find it interesting that he would chose to keep Simeon.  Could it be that he was the ringleader and the one who had the ability to sway the others to come up with wicked schemes?  We all have that person in our family that has the ability to sway the others, whether it is for good or evil.  As a result, Jacob didn’t really pronounce a blessing on Simeon because of his behavior which shows that your actions can affect what you will inherit, your blessings.

As a matter of fact, he was excluded from the blessings that Moses spoke over the tribes in Deuteronomy 33.  It was like Moses didn’t even want to speak the name Simeon.  We know that the tribe did get an inheritance in the land and it was a part of what was given to Judah.  Here is a map so that you can see what it looked like…
We see Simeon’s land was inside Judah’s land.  Also reading Deuteronomy 33, Moses’ blessing to the tribes, we see the first blessing was given to Rueben who is the first-born son and the second born should’ve been Simeon but instead he blesses Judah.

It sends a very powerful message that jealousy doesn’t pay.  And, in the end Joseph’s son Manasseh got double the inheritance.  So the jealousy, caused the object of the jealousy to receive double while the person who was carrying the jealousy got less. Wow!  This is something to keep in mind as we see people start to get blessed and restored this month and into this year.  Guard your heart.  Your turn is coming.  You don’t need anyone else’s blessing because God has something just as special in store for you.  And, you should celebrate when others succeed because obviously jealousy will only cause God to give them double and also reduce what you were supposed to get in the first place.
If you are the object of someone else’s jealousy, that means you will receive DOUBLE!!  Not because of anything you did but because it’s a spiritual law.  They couldn’t stop Joseph, and they can’t stop YOU.

This is a full circle moment, now
Remember you just learnt that this is the month of the daughter’s of Zelophehad?  Well, check out who their great, great, great grandfather was….
(Numbers 27:1)  “One day a petition was presented by the daughters of Zelophehad—Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah. Their father, Zelophehad, was a descendant of Hepher son of Gilead, son of Makir, son of Manasseh, son of Joseph.”

Come one now!!!  The daughters were NOT supposed to receive an inheritance, because only the male child should get it, but the laws were changed for them and they got it!!  Because they ASKED. Because of the daughters, laws were rewritten.  This is the favor and grace that was upon them.  The next thing during this time period marriages were arranged, but they were told in Numbers 36 that they can marry whomever they choose as long as it was someone within that same tribe! They were given the freedom to marry whomever they chose and also given an inheritance that they were not legally entitled to!  DOUBLE!!  This is important because it shows you that the blessing that was on Joseph was given to his descendants for years to come.  That double portion didn’t just stop with him. The favor and grace that was upon his life was transferred to the generations that followed him.  Praise God!!
Okay let me circle back a little more right here: Let the Lion Rise Up Inside of Us So We Can Surge Ahead

1. It’s the month of the constellation of the lion, and therefore also the month the lion roars. The Lord, the Lion of Judah, is roaring for us (Joel 3:16) [1]. We are still in the “dire straits” (Tammuz 17–Av 9 [July 6–July 27]), but we must shine brighter and brighter. Notice the Lion of Judah is roaring. It is symbolic of declaration of ruling and even attacking and conquering the enemy. Paul said that in all these tribulations, we are “more than conquerors” (Rom. 8:37), and Daniel prophesied that we would shine as the end approaches (see Dan. 12:3). If the Lord is roaring, then so should we. Let the roar—the shout of victory—rise up in you.

2. The month of Simeon, which means “to hear; to be concerned.” We want to be concerned that we will be able to continue moving ahead. Simeon messed up, just like Reuben (the previous month), who was unstable. Simeon was called an “instrument of cruelty” (Gen. 49:5). Also, there seemed to be instability, perhaps from his mother, Leah, who felt that bearing him would earn her husband’s love (see Gen. 29:31–33) [2]. We are grafted into the great inheritance God has for us. However, when there is instability in our bloodline (as was the case with Simeon—and as is the case with most of us), we need to develop spiritual discipline, as demons will try to convince you to align and agree with them. Therefore 1) roar, 2) keep testifying whenever God does something for you, 3) and keep remembering we are in covenant with Him.

3. The month that you decide on what you have heard. You need to make a decision. “Will I just hear what God has told me, or will I actually do it?” He is saying, “Let the Lion rise up in you.” Do that by calling on the warrior/overcomer anointing. One of the best methods of meditating is to declare what God has said. Keep declaring that you are a warrior and a conqueror in all things. And yes, keep declaring and testifying the wonderful things God is doing for you. Verbalize them.

4. Av is called the “low-point month.” Historically, bad things have happened to Israel on the 9th of Av. A few examples follow. First, Av 9 (July 27) is when the Israelites agreed with the negative report of the ten spies and declared they wouldn’t enter the Promised Land. Second, the first temple was destroyed by the Babylonians on Av 9 in 423 B.C. Third, the Romans destroyed the second temple on Av 9 in 69 A.D. Fourth, the Jews were ordered out of England on this date in 1290. Fifth, the Jews were expelled from Spain in 1492 on this same day. Sixth, even the Holocaust is connected in that the stage and conditions for WW2 were set in motion by WW1, which started when Germany declared war on Russia in 1914 on the 9th of Av.

The point isn’t to be fearful, but to be aware of the disaster that can happen when we abandon covenant with God and refuse to believe His promises. I believe this is the best context for 1 Peter 5:8, which states, “Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” In other words, we’re not to fear, but are to have a sober understanding that our hope must always be in God and the covenant He made with us.

5. Av is also known as the “high-point month” because of Av 15 (August 2), the day the last Israelite of the old generation died in the wilderness. Thus, Israel was once again poised to enter the Promised Land. Be of good cheer. God always restores and gives us another chance.

6. The month of the Hebrew letter tet [ט], which resembles a womb. The struggles during Tammuz and Av are like birth pangs. They are not something to be merely endured, but know that God wants to birth something. Tribulations are preparation for more blessing. Paul writes, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory” (2 Cor. 4:17).

7. The month where God destroys so that He can reconstruct. The forty years in the wilderness can also be viewed as a destroying of old, wrong foundations of mistrust and unbelief. So for us, the more we choose to shine, the more we can trust God is destroying old hindrances.

8. The month where the earth begins to contract. Watch for earthquakes. The secret of the pregnancy begins to move into the earth realm. When you hear of earthquakes, know that God is getting ready to birth something.

9. The month that also means “there is an iniquity.” However, we don’t need to let it continue. You must change for the better, or you will gradually get worse. Pray, “Lord, show me my iniquities so they can be uprooted.” Choosing to shine in praise and worship, and choosing to declare you are His warrior will do much to uproot iniquitous patterns.

10. The month where the kingdom advances through partnership and connections. Be very aware of your partnerships. If we’ve been responding with more praise and worship, and if we’ve been faithful in making declarations, then we can expect the Lord will have birthed new connections for advance. Watch for them to come now.

11. The month of the left kidney. Develop a new level of discernment, or you will unwittingly oppose God’s counsel and advice. Note Psalm 32. He takes hold of the reins (of our kidneys). Don’t resist the leading of the Holy Spirit. Again, I recommend meditating on what God has spoken or shown. As we do so, we’ll see an increase of His wisdom in us, as well as an increase in discernment.
Declaration
I decree and declare that the same anointing and blessing that was upon the life of Joseph and his posterity will be granted to me so that laws will be changed on my behalf!  Because I ASKED.  Rules will shift because I ASKED.  Exceptions and exemptions will be made because of me.  I declare that blessings and an inheritance will be granted to me, like a train changing tracks, the tracks of favor will change in my direction!   The road marked with blessings will shift in my direction, streams will flow where once there was dry land in my direction.  Every deserted arid path that leads to me will flood with the blessings of God and my generation will eat the fruit of it, because I ASKED.  I decree and declare that my posterity will enjoy the overflow of my life for generations to come, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
I decree and declare I have nothing to be jealous of in another person!!!  Because my Father who owns a cattle on a thousand hills has so much that He’ll never run dry on blessings for me!

Jealousy comes from a poverty mentality.  Lack. What it is really saying is that you think God’s blessing may run dry and if He gives something to someone else there’s not enough left for you.  And you know that is not true!  He is ENDLESS, what He has is ENDLESS.  His blessings can never run dry.  You don’t even have the capacity to hold what He has for you, much less to want what someone else has!  Expand your own capacity so you can contain all that there is for YOU, be free of jealousy in Jesus name!  There’s more than enough for all of us.  Any other thinking is a lie from the pit of hell and must be rebuked.  His blessings will never run dry.
It will never run dry! Just open yourself to receive what God has for you this month.  And picture Him pouring into you an endless supply.  And as He pours it into you, it will overflow from your life into the lives of others.  Because He is Endless.  You don’t even have time to look at what someone else has because you can’t even contain what He’s pouring into you!!! All you can do is give it away to make room for what He keeps pouring.  Hallelujah!

Av First Fruit Blessing Prayer (pray it aloud!!)
Lord, keep me alert this month.  Take me out of this stuck mindset.  Show me where I’ve allowed the subtle pirate to come in and steal what you are about to do for me this next year. I pray for the courage to do something different.  Remove the fear of failure from me.  Grant me boldness this month to make moves that I wouldn’t normally make.  Grant me boldness in my speech to ask for things that I generally wouldn’t ask for.  Anoint my words so that what I ask will be in line with your will for my life.  Lead me into a place of success and cause me to go through these straits this month successfully only carrying what you want me to carry through it into my Promised land!  I pray for a victorious month in You!  No more throttling or delays in my life but bring movement into my destiny.  I bind the spirit of jealousy and I cast it out from my life in the name of Jesus.  I bind up lack and poverty and I cast it out in Jesus name. I loose ABUNDANCE of God and the OVERFLOW into my life.  Lord forgive me if I’ve ever encouraged a jealous spirit.  Whatever was lessened I pray it be expanded and that I will walk into the fullness of what you intended for me.  Make all things new God.  May my generations experience favor, grace and a double portion in Jesus name, Amen!

Blessings for the Hebrew Month of Adar
Adar—The Twelfth Hebrew Month of 5783
February 22–March 22, 2023

A Time to Enter Your True Identity
Understanding—and also entering into—our true identity is a main key that unlocks the door to our destiny. Gideon was a fearful nobody until the day he understood who he really was—a warrior who would set Israel free (see Judges 6). One might make the case that when John the Baptist got the revelation that he was “the voice of one shouting in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord’” (John 1:23), his destiny speeded up. The very next day he met Jesus (see John 1:22–29).

1. Month of the tribe of Naphtali, which means “sweetness to me.” Deuteronomy 33:23 states, “Naphtali is abounding with favor of the Lord.” This is our identity—we are abounding and overflowing with the favor of the Lord. To say it and celebrate it are like prophetic acts that cause words to become experiential reality.

Declare: I am abounding with the favor of the Lord

Find your supply in the “hidden” world (e.g., the gold coin in the fish’s mouth).

Declare: The more I rejoice, the more the “masks” fall off.

10. The feast of Purim. This feast originates with Esther. The devil inspired Haman to get an edict decreeing all the Jews in the Persian empire were to be slaughtered on Adar 13. God had placed Esther as wife of the emperor “for such a time as this” (4:14–16) [4]. The edict couldn’t be reversed, but because of her the Jews were permitted to defend themselves. Adar 13 (March 6), which would have been a day of annihilation, turned into a day of great victory over their enemies. The next day, Adar 14 (March 7), became the Feast of Purim. Daily celebrate that every plan of the enemy against you has already been overturned by Jesus. By celebrating, you enter into that victory.

Declare: I celebrate God’s goodness, and every edict against me is broken in Jesus’s name.

11. A month to develop your war strategy against the anti-Christ spirit. Don’t let the giants produce fear in you; guard against idolatry. Amalek will try to come. Don’t end the year in fear. See Exodus 17:8–16. Note that Amalek attacked from the rear. Be sure you are not “holding back.” Also, when Moses’s hands were held up, Israel prevailed. For us, this means we can keep our “hands raised” by staying in faith and joy (remember Purim is about joy). This will keep us in the victory of the Lord.

Declare: Whenever I sense fear or worry come, I will raise my hands in faith and declare all things are in His hands.

13. A time for leadership to awaken. Next month they go to war.

Declare: I am a leader, and I am arising.

Blessings for the Hebrew Month of Cheshvan
Cheshvan—The Eighth Hebrew Month of 5783
Oct. 26–Nov. 24, 2022

We have just come through the seventh month, Tishrei, and the Feast of Tabernacles. We have crossed into great harvest like we have never seen before. The whole point of the Feast of Tabernacles is to allow the Lord to dwell with us and to be a part of our daily lives. Thus the title for this eighth month is to keep growing in dwelling in the presence.
Keep Growing—The Lord Wants to Dwell with Us in Our Homes and Daily Lives

1. The month of Manasseh (to forget, to leap up and away). We should carry forward with what was emphasized at Tabernacles. Let’s remember that the waters of salvation—the outflowing of the Holy Spirit—come the more we allow the Lord to “dwell” with us. Let’s continually remember Revelation 3:20, which states, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” The more we practice this, the more we will discover living water flowing out of our innermost being (John 7:37–39) Let’s also note how much God has blessed us. Like Joseph, we can forget the old. It’s time to leap forward into all God has for us.

2. This is the month that Noah’s flood began. (It lasted a year and ten days, but began during this month.) Don’t be alarmed if you see a flood moving in your circumstances. Just take it as a sign that we may have some issues that need to be dealt with. Ask the Lord to make those issues clear and then deal with them.

3. A month reserved for receiving anointing because “the anointing will break the yoke” (Isa. 10:27). One of the surest ways of receiving anointing is to come to Jesus and drink. Talk to Him often throughout the day. The more we share our lives with Him, the more His anointing will flow in us. Anointing also increases the more we use it. It also grows as we rejoice in the difficulties that arise. So don’t be surprised at testing. Stay in joy, knowing the Lord is using those circumstances to increase the anointing and work it deeper in you (James 1:12) [1].

4. Without a new anointing, Satan can gain an upper hand. I emphasize again that God wants us to grow in the anointing, and we do this most easily and assuredly when we talk to the Lord as our friend throughout the day.

5. A month to deal with hardships, trials, and tribulations. This is why the Lord is emphasizing anointing. We cannot deal with these things by ourselves. We need His help, His power, and His anointing. He definitely will help us. You can let pain transform you into something usable for God’s plan for your life. We are not exempt from bad times, but we can be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Rom. 12:1–2) [3]. But if we are of the world, all we can do is conform (like children of Belial). However, we have the power and blood of Jesus flowing through us so we can be transformed.

6. Therefore, whenever you notice something negative in you (e.g., envy, bitterness, complaining, self-seeking) (James 3:13–16) [4], confess it and reject it, and take it to the Lord. We sometimes think these are small things, but remember, it’s “the little foxes that spoil the vines” (Song of Sol. 2:15). The anointing will rise up and help you. Be diligent to keep giving those negative things to the Lord. You will find yourself being transformed. We don’t want to be like Moses whose stronghold of anger resulted in his not entering the Promised Land. (Moses was born during this month.)

7. The month of smell. During this month, the soul responds in unusual ways. Smell affects the soul, not just the body. The fragrance of God can permeate the soulish nature and change us and those around us (2 Cor. 2:14–16) [5]. Breathe in the fragrance of the Lord and be transformed.

8. The myrrh or myrtle month. The myrtle tree is very fragrant and can symbolize prophetic promise. Isaiah 55:13 states, “Instead of the briar shall come up the myrtle tree.” Thus, it’s a month to smell the awe of God. Ask the Lord that every “briar” circumstance would instead become a “myrtle.”

9. You will begin to really see colors. This month’s color is violet, which often stands for passion for God. Passion helps us to receive revelation that can move us into a supernatural state. Begin to move in a new level of passion.

10. The month of the constellation Scorpio, the snake of Eden. The enemy wants to release strategies to hinder you. But remember that Jesus trampled on the snake (rejoice and shout hallelujah). We must do the same (Rom. 16:20) [6].

11. The month of the Hebrew letter nun (נ). This letter looks like a boundary. I love this concept—the Lord wants to illuminate new and further things for us. His light will reach our furthest boundaries. We will see that our boundaries/destinies are greater than our human thinking may have allowed us, and we can also expect His light to shine and reveal how to solve long-standing problems.

12. The month of the intestines. The month of fine digestion. There is an ability to digest and assimilate even difficult things that the Lord wants us to understand.

13. A month that you have to war with words. This should be the month you continually declare, shout, or yell: “I am satisfied.” This will push out the negative and dissatisfying from your innermost being, where ill-spoken words can reside. (Perhaps you will find stomach problems being healed—they often occur because of receiving and believing wrong words.) Declaring you are satisfied will result in an overflow of the Holy Spirit in your innermost being. This will result in an increase of anointing to help push out that negative.
